Competitive cycling [but not how you know it]…..

Well, photography and cycling might not be your first thoughts of the perfect partnership but at saddle Skeddaddle they think it is…

On the Yorkshire Dales weekend leaving from the HF holiday house at Airton, our customers thought so too and really got very enthusiastic about the monthly competition that Skeddaddle has for their customers.

We even had ‘Selfie practice’

‘The competition is taking a photo submit it to the Skedaddle team, and you will be in with the chance of winning Saddle Skedaddle holiday vouchers worth up to £250… Worth snapping away for, I would say !?’

So instead of our weekend being about the KOM’S and the QOM’S, it was as it should be 🙂 about the amazing country side, taking photos as often as the sun shine would allow, and getting to know the quiet country lanes, and our fellow riders.

As a guide I suggest the customers share their photo’s and memory’s of their trip; this often takes the form of a What’s app group.

I’m a big fan of the app for allowing communication and sharing of files for FREE ( i’m aware that not every body is because of privacy settings) as long as data is available.

One of the things I have grown to love about the ‘What’s App’ groups is they stay open… Customers becoming friends way after the trip as ended, and customers staying in touch with me as a guide enabling advise to be shared openly on kit, the usual saddle sore discussions, and routes and obviously what fantastic routes we all might be riding with Skedaddle, or just independently… It has even been known for us to hook up on Strava, to give each other ‘Kudos’ encouraging each other to train for a life of adventure.

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon for 😊🍻☀️🚴‍♀️⛰📷 and generally having a great time ⏳
